  Success Technique]





How many times have you heard this phrase?

"Maybe a million times?"..



But, are you really 'all ears' ?"

Okay...
Are you ready for this 'powerful yet simple' strategy?

I recently heard an online 'Mega Guru' explain the Amazing Technique' of ...
"Simply Listening"! 

Truly hearing your client's or prospect's needs and concerns.

It's simple to say, "Well, I knew where they were going".. but how do you 'know'?

If you were 'preconceiving' and anticipating while hearing key words that you were prepared to counter, then you had already 'Stopped Listening'.

"So, what if they are giving me objections?"

So what? ~ what is the solution? Simple.
Just hear their concerns ~ Expound upon them ~ Even probe for their 'deeper' concerns.

In a nut-shell.. Dig for their real feelings - what they are not saying. Cliche objections are usually just an easy cover for their true concerns.


"If you do not discover them - you cannot solve them!"

Often what we are hearing is only a 'cover' for their fears of a real issue they have from a bad experience.

A fear based technique (we all have learned) to protect ourselves from our 'inner fears'.


By the way.. Did you ever give a 'Quiche' or layer of words you used to hide or mask over your 'true worries of concerns' about a subject? 

Of course you have so, now you get it - Right?

Cut your prospect a break and help them!

Give them that! Help them to go deeper into that place where the real reasons lay hidden, and you may be able to discover and 'desolve' that deep resistance to your questions and 'this' is when you 'begin to be a Mentor'.

No one wants to be a number or a line on a graph! No one wants to be pushed or feel pressured of sold..
And that is a fear that we all have in common. So, again ~ Give them that human reaction.

~ If anyone is going to trust you, you have to prove yourself trust worthy.
~ If you show them how much you really care about 'them' and their needs.. 
you have then and only then have 'earned their trust' and have now, you have a chance at helping them to be open to working with you. 

I think this is the part of the process that we are so often 'blind' to. 
We get so busy that we want to rush everything that we get focused on 'the numbers' - and not what creates them.. "People".

* Solution: First let's "make a 'FREIND" *

I suppose there are those times that you meet someone and you 'just click'.
But if we are wise (and we should practice being wise) we will expect others to 'earn' our trust as we expect others to do for us.

It's actually a "Do Unto Others" kind of thing!

So again," Listen to all your prospects and new business members. 
As a matter of fact. Listen to them like you listen to 'your mentor'.. 
We can always learn. From the bottom to the top of our associations - on any list. ;)

Let's keep our ears open and truly listen'..           
"You might be surprised what you learn !"
