When Writing Copy for Ads, Posts, Videos.. ~ "It's All About The Verbs" ~
Great Lesson here ~ I just watch an insightful quick writing tip from a Copyrighter Group ~

I was pretty amazed how right this little tip seems to be. I believe I innately utilized this tip at times without realizing it, but to here a professional give out this valueable information was unique.

So say 'you' are writing and you have written .. 
"The woman was under the tree." The TIP was.. that if you utilize better verbs in place of 'to be' verbs, you will save a lot of writing and it will be much more powerful.

She suggests (in this case) to use perhaps one of these better substitute verbs, 
The woman: "kneeled under the tree, slept under the tree, ate under the tree, lounged under the tree, slouched under the tree".. etc..

Amazing - isn't it? Can you see the value of these more expressive verbs and power of such simple substitutes? 

'Sat' leaves the canvas quite white.. but as soon as you replace it with 'slumped', we wonder 'why'? 
If we say, 'kneeled', we also wonder.. Is she examining something on the ground? .. or praying?

This instantly 'not only paints a more interesting picture, but it also engages the reader. It causes them to be curious.. to ask questions in their minds and keeps them wanting more information..

THE WORLD IS 'CHANGING FAST' !!

Wow ~ Have you caught yourself saying, "Geeze - What next ??"

Well.. you're right.. It not just me.. It's not just you ~ 
Our world is truly changing beneath our feet - on a daily basis.. 

If you are a Baby-Boomer, (like me) or not, this world seems to be completely out of control.
And it is.. at least for us..

I remember for decades the rule was, "Never pay more than 1/4 of your monthly budget on your housing." ~ HA ! As you well know, that is almost impossible today. For many, it is impossible.. 
And that is what's hitting the 'Homeless' problem in our country ~ like an epidemic.

But whether you're 18 or 80.. it is an ongoing problem. 

This situation is not exclusive to seniors. It is affecting many younger folks as well and (sadly) many fanilies with little kids - homeless and keeping a low profile to keep off the radar.

"Once you get so low - you can lose 'everything' !"
I have met or heard of a multitude of seniors that are totally fed up with the costs of housing and have put all their funds into mobile living choices. Not because they love it - but just because their income cannot keep up with housing costs. 
They've just given up..

But the opposite is also true... "Once you get far enough ahead - you can 'gain everything !"
Write your own ticket and not have to wait around for a hand out or miracle..

I (for one) refuse to lose ! 
I am taking the bull by the horns and will continue to fight for my lifestyle to be what I can make it ..
What ever I want it to be ~ 

Like me, you could discover a fantastic solution.. "CHANGE WITH THE TIMES".
I never wanted to - I wanted to live like my Grandmas & my Mother. Simple lives wrapped around keeping a neat and well kept home.. Cooking, Cleaning, Caring for my husband, children and home.
But by the time I was 15 I had a very rude awakening ~ 

The reality hit me that.. "This World did not Value a Homemaker anymore."
Now, instead, I was expected to get an education in business. Attain high level of work experience.. And I know had to make it in a world that was totally foreign to my heart and desires.

Well - here we are again! Now, at 63, I realize that unlike 'Grandma & Grandpa's time, Social Security is a ridiculous bubble that popped long ago.. There is nothing there waiting for you at the end of your hard life of work and investment (taxes).

We got suckered folks! But there is a >> SOLUTION << ~ 'IF' you are like me and refuse to 'die off quietly'.. Join me - find your renewed vision. Only the RESOURCEFUL will survive these changes. 
Let's show them - "I AIN'T DEAD YET" !!
